Director of Marketing
Kristen Lakin has been actively marketing Northern Westchester real estate for the past 20 years. As Marketing Director, she meets with homeowners at the beginning of the listing process. She carefully reviews the property in order to understand its attributes. She works closely with the agents developing a strategy to highlight the most salient and compelling features of the property. Her responsibilities include creating effective copy, preparation of brochures and placement of all advertising. She is also responsible for developing advertising and promotional schedules as well as maintaining the Ginnel.com website.
Kristen has a life-long knowledge of the area and uses that understanding to fully promote Ginnel listings. She grew up in Pound Ridge and went through the Bedford School system. After graduating from Brown University, she worked in account management for two New York advertising firms, Leber-Katz Partners and Foote, Cone Belding. Longing to get back to Northern Westchester, she joined Ginnel Real Estate in 1987. Like Dan Ginnel, she has a tremendous historical knowledge of individual properties that can be invaluable in their representation.
In her spare time, Kristen and her husband Derek chase after their two toddlers.
